FST™ Duct Seal is a “closed cell foam” which is superior to “open cell” spray canned foams.  The kit contains a two-barrel cartridge filled with a two-part foam base, which is mixed in equal parts as it is pushed through the mixing nozzle. When mixed and injected, the foam expands and hardens, keeping water, acids, greases, gases, insects, and rodents, etc., out of the conduit. The foam has good wetting and adhesion to metals, plastics, and concrete. A separate, reusable ratchet application tool is used to inject the foam.

Polywater® FST™ Duct Seal
A properly constructed FST™ Duct Seal example is shown at right in the clear conduit demo.   Note the placement of the "damming" strips wrapped around the cables.   The dams create the void into which the liquid FST™ foam is injected and hold the rapidly expanding foam in place while it cures.  Read the Application Instructions or watch the Installation Video for additional information.
The FST™ Duct Seal example shown at right is a cross-cut duct to show FST™ closed cell foam technology at work surrounding the cable to maintain a good seal.

FST™Duct Sealant comes in a multi-use, dual plunger side-by-side cartridge or a multi-use single plunger caulking tube package.   The foam wets and adheres to metals, plastics, and concrete, and can seal ducts of different sizes, base materials, and shapes.   It will conform around complex cable fill configurations.   A kit contains everything required to install the duct block (single or dual plunger application tool available separately).
