Une compr\u00e9hension de base peut conduire \u00e0 de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats sur le terrain. Au c\u0153ur de cette science se trouve le coefficient de friction (CDF), dont la mesure est parfois appel\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0tribiologie\u00a0\u00bb. Il existe de nombreuses fa\u00e7ons de calculer le CDF, mais il d\u00e9pend fortement des conditions d&rsquo;utilisation. Bien que le CDF soit une constante dans les \u00e9quations de tension, il est utilis\u00e9 comme un facteur dynamique qui englobe d&rsquo;autres conditions de terrain. On peut l&rsquo;appeler le coefficient de friction <em>effectif<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 3px solid #333399; padding: 1em; text-align: left;\"><strong>D\u00e9finition du CDF\u00a0:<\/strong> Le CDF est d\u00e9fini comme le rapport entre la force n\u00e9cessaire pour d\u00e9placer une surface horizontalement sur une autre et la force entre les deux surfaces. Le CDF est utilis\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9dire la force ou la tension.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Facteurs influen\u00e7ant la valeur\u00a0:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Le CDF d\u00e9pend du frottement des deux surfaces l&rsquo;une contre l&rsquo;autre, mais de multiples facteurs influencent cette valeur.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mat\u00e9riaux<\/strong>\u2014les variations de la composition des mat\u00e9riaux influencent le CDF. Les polym\u00e8res peuvent \u00eatre additionn\u00e9s de substances de remplissage ou de plastifiants. Les alliages m\u00e9talliques peuvent avoir des performances diff\u00e9rentes, mais le plus souvent, nous constatons une diff\u00e9rence dans la finesse de la finition. Les rev\u00eatements en plastique, les oxydes m\u00e9talliques et d&rsquo;autres variations de surface influencent tous le CDF.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mouvement<\/strong>\u2014l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire pour initier le mouvement (CDF statique) est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle requise pour maintenir l&rsquo;objet en mouvement (CDF cin\u00e9tique).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Force normale<\/strong>\u2014une pression plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e modifiera \u00e9galement les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de la surface. Dans la science du tirage de c\u00e2bles, cela se traduit par un CDF plus faible dans les courbes, sous une force lat\u00e9rale \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Temp\u00e9rature<\/strong>\u2014selon la situation et le mat\u00e9riau, la temp\u00e9rature affecte directement le CDF. Les mat\u00e9riaux des c\u00e2bles et des conduits se ramollissent \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature et se rigidifient \u00e0 froid.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Application du lubrifiant<\/strong>\u2014abaisse le CDF entre deux surfaces. Les lubrifiants r\u00e9agissent diff\u00e9remment aux mat\u00e9riaux et sont \u00e9galement influenc\u00e9s par les facteurs ci-dessus. Le lubrifiant doit recouvrir enti\u00e8rement les surfaces lorsque les deux mat\u00e9riaux sont press\u00e9s et frott\u00e9s l&rsquo;un contre l&rsquo;autre. Est-ce 0,50 ou 0,35\u00a0? La r\u00e9ponse correcte\u00a0? Cela d\u00e9pend.<\/p>\n<p>Le meilleur CDF utilis\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9dire la tension du c\u00e2ble peut \u00eatre d\u00e9crit comme le CDF <em>effectif<\/em>. Il prend en compte tous les facteurs ci-dessus\u00a0: les mat\u00e9riaux, la tension sur les parois lat\u00e9rales et, ce qui est tr\u00e8s important, le lubrifiant utilis\u00e9.
