SpliceMaster® Type NF™ closely matches trichlor's desirable characteristics without the negative trade-offs typical of other slow-drying alternative solvents.
SpliceMaster® Type NF™ is a fast evaporating, non-flammable cleaner with excellent solvency properties. Type NF™ does not contain chlorinated solvents. NF™ will clean semi-conducting cable shield, corrosion inhibiting compound, silicone greases, filling gels, transformer oils and many other contaminants found in electrical cleaning. It is compatible with most materials.
SpliceMaster® Type NF™ is available in the convenient PEL-PAC® Kit: pre-saturated towelettes in a resealable tin. PEL-PAC® Kits are a great option for safe field use, allowing craft people to control solvent vapors to below Permissible Exposure Limits. This package also eliminates spill and splash hazards, and comes with or without pre-cut strips of non-conductive aluminum oxide sanding cloth for removal of stubborn semi-con shield residue. The towels are durable and non-linting.
