American Polywater's Technical Talk publication presents original research or analysis based on work done in the development or testing of Polywater® products. The content can range from theoretical analysis to field applications measurements. Technical Talk subjects are of general interest in electrical construction, and are presented with significant technical depth and data content. Technical Talk is a popular publication, and it will continue to be published on an irregular basis.
The new SpeedRead will also present subjects of technical interest, but subjects that can be covered without the presentation of much data or detail. So here is the first one.
American Polywater has placed a calculator on their web page to estimate the amount of pulling lubricant needed for any given cable pull. The calculator requires inputs on conduit size, total conduit run length, degrees of bend, and conduit condition. The calculator can be run in metric or English units.
