Polywater® WX Wax Base Cable Pulling Lubricant is a significant improvement over older style wax pulling lubricants. It is temperature stable and does not liquify and drop off after high temperature exposure. Polywater® WX Wax Lube is clean and slow drying. It leaves less residue in the conduit to block future cable pulls or removal.

Polywater® WX Wax Lube is environmentally safe and non-toxic. Unlike many wax pulling lubricants, it is compatible* with a broad variety of cable jackets, including polyethylene types.

1. Lubricity: THHN-jacketed cable on PVC conduit at 2.91 kN/m (200 lbs/ft) normal pressure; coefficient of dynamic friction <.15.
   
   
2. Temperature stability: No separation after 24-hour exposure at 90°C (194°F).
   
   
3. Water performance: No more than a 20% loss of lubricant (by weight) after 30 minutes of cable immersion in water at 23°C (76°F).
   
   
4. Cling factor: Twelve inches of a one-inch diameter cable will hold at least 75 grams of lubricant for one minute when held vertically (at 21°C/70°F).
   
   
5. Appearance: Thick, yellow gel material.
   
   
6. pH: 6.5 to 8.0
   
   
7. Cable compatibility: No deleterious effects on physical or electrical properties of common* cable jackets.
   
   
8. Temperature Use Range: -5°C to 50°C (20°F to 122°F).
   
   
9. Percent non-volatile solids: 4.5 to 6.5%
   
   
10. Polyethylene stress cracking: No stress cracking on LDPE cable jacket when tested by ASTM D1693.
    
    
11. Toxicity: Non-toxic and non-sensitizing. Industrial use only.
    
    
12. Flammability: Lubricant has no flash point and dried residue is not combustible.
    
    
13. Cleanup: Complete cleanup possible with water.
